Cantil TV Suspension is an antifungal medication. It is a combination medicine used in the treatment of fungal skin infections. It kills the fungi that cause skin infections and thus treats the infection. Cantil TV Suspension is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. A thin layer of the medicine should be applied only to the affected areas of the skin with clean and dry hands. If it gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina rinse with water. It may take several days to weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed to ensure better efficacy of the medicine. If your condition does not improve or gets worse, you should talk to your doctor. The most common side effect of this medicine includes itching, dryness, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. These are usually self-limiting. Serious side effects are rare. You must consult the doctor if you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.). It is also used to relieve irritation of the vulva (external thrush) and irritation occurring at the end of the penis, which may be associated with thrush.

  Ans: Cantil TV Suspension is effective against Trichophyton species which cause ringworm infection, athlete’s foot and jock itch (fungal infection of the skin in the groin or buttocks). It is also effective against yeast, known as Cantil TV Suspension, which commonly causes vaginal thrush (infection caused by an overgrowth of yeast called candida albicans).
• Q. Q. I have started using Cantil TV Suspension. By when can I expect to start seeing the improvements??
  Ans: The symptoms of skin infection, such as itching or soreness, should improve within a few days of treatment. However, signs such as redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. Do not stop applying this medicine before the duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel better.

  Ans: Always wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying Cantil TV Suspension. In general, the treatment is continued for 1 month for tinea infection and for at least for 15 days for Cantil TV Suspension infection.   Ans: Cantil TV Suspension is safe for children only if taken as directed by the doctor. It should be given to children in the correct dose only for the prescribed length of time. Minor side effects may occur but usually, they are not bothersome. However, if your child develops a burning sensation, redness and itching (which is severe in nature), stop the medicine and contact the doctor.
