It works by lowering your immune system’s response to these conditions and prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. Taking this medicine enables you to live your life more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections.
CPM 4mg Injection may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
CPM 4mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
CPM 4mg Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of CPM 4mg Injection may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
CPM 4mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
CPM 4mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of CPM 4mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of CPM 4mg Injection may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
There is limited information available on the use of CPM 4mg Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of CPM 4mg Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
