In Parkinson's disease Bidopal 500mg Tablet is an effective medication to relieve symptoms of Parkinson's disease such as tremors, muscle stiffness and difficulty moving. It increases the amount of a chemical called dopamine in the brain which helps in coordination of body movements. This medicine can therefore enhance the quality of life by improving the ability to carry out daily functions in a better manner.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bidopal 500mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Bidopal 500mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. This medicine helps to treat excessive shaking by slowing down the body movements. Bidopal 500mg Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. However, take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. You should never skip any doses and try to finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor as it can result in harmful effects. It is important to note that this drug may cause addiction in some individuals. It may be contraindicated if you have narrow-angle glaucoma or skin cancer, or have a history of fits. This medicine may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, muscle contraction, and movement disorder. Initially, this medicine may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure when you change positions, so it is better to rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It causes a sudden onset of dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. If you are undergoing any tests for urine glucose or urine ketones, it may cause the results of some tests to be wrong and even changes the color of urine, so consult your doctor before getting any such tests.

Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Bidopal 500mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving : UNSAFE

Bidopal 500mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Patients who have experienced somnolence and/or an episode of sudden sleep onset must refrain from driving or operating machines .

Kidney : CAUTION

Bidopal 500mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Bidopal 500mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver : CAUTION

Bidopal 500mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Bidopal 500mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Bidopal 500mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
