Betanaz Plus 40mg/5mg Tablet TR is a combination of two medicines that helps in preventing migraine. This medicine is not used for treatment of acute migraine attack. Betanaz Plus 40mg/5mg Tablet TR should be taken on empty stomach, but try to have it same time regularly at a fixed time preferably at night. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Lifestyle modifications like avoiding stress, smoking, and processed food items may help this medicine work better. Few common side effects of this medicine include weight gain, slow heart rate, tiredness, depression, drowsiness and cold extremities. It may cause sleepiness so try not to drive or do anything that requires mental focus or rise slowly while from sitting position. The drug has the ability to hide the symptoms of the blood sugar level, hence monitor your blood sugar level regularly as well as blood pressure while taking this medicine.
