The antiseptic effect is caused due to the slow release of iodine. Keep the affected area clean and use the medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Lie on your back and gently insert the pessary into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label.
