Product Informations: Bactimox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet DT

In Bacterial infections Bactimox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet DT is a medicine that effectively treats a wide range of bacterial infections, especially the ones which are suspected to be caused due to resistant bacteria. These infections may include otitis media (ear infection), rhinosinusitis (sinus infection), tonsillitis (infection of tonsils), dental abscess (tooth infection), pneumonia (lung infection), cellulitis (skin infection), and urinary tract infections. The presence of probiotics reduces the chance of side effects like stomach upset or diarrhea associated with prolonged intake of antibiotics. Usually, children start to feel better within 2-3 days of regular dosing. Make sure to finish the recommended course of the medicine as stopping the medicine abruptly may lead to ineffective treatment or may even worsen your child’s condition.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Bactimox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Bactimox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet DT treats a wide range of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, nose, sinus, tonsils, throat, lungs, heart, skin, and bones. It can also treat infections caused by resistant bacteria. The presence of probiotics helps in reducing the chance of getting side effects like diarrhea. Give Bactimox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet DT either with or without food but it is best to give it with food if it upsets your child’s stomach. It is generally given three times a day. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor as these depend on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s body weight and age. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose when your child feels better. However, do not double the dose if it is the time for the next dose. Bactimox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet DT can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash. These side effects should ideally subside on their own. But, in case these side effects persist or become bothersome for your child, report to the doctor without a delay. Tell your child’s doctor if your child has had any previous episodes of allergy, heart problems, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, gastrointestinal problem, skin disorder, and kidney malfunction. Knowledge of your child’s medical history will help the dose make dose alterations and plan your child’s overall treatment.
