B-Floren Eye Drop is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye. It relieves the symptoms of the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms. B-Floren Eye Drop is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It may cause burning sensation and eye discomfort immediately following application. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. It may cause short term blurring of vision when first used. Use caution before driving or using machines. Do not wear contact lenses while using it.

• Eye discomfort

If you miss a dose of B-Floren Eye Drop, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

  Ans: Ideally, you should use the drops regularly, 3 times a day for 7 days or as prescribed by your doctor.

  Ans: B-Floren Eye Drop starts working as early as 3 days. The itching and discharge (if any) are the first ones to get better. Pain and soreness may take a little longer to resolve, as long as 7 days. But, if it takes longer, or if your symptoms do not subside or get worse, please consult your doctor immediately.

  Ans: B-Floren Eye Drop should not be used for more than 7 days unless your doctor tells you to. Due to prolonged use, the bacterial infection may become resistant to B-Floren Eye Drop which means it will no longer work properly. Please talk to your doctor if you do not see any improvement in your symptoms. He/she may change the dose or probably prescribe a different medicine.

  Ans: Wash your hands thoroughly prior to using B-Floren Eye Drop. Invert closed bottle (upside down) and shake once before each use. Remove cap with bottle still in the inverted position. Tilt head back, and with bottle inverted, gently squeeze bottle to instill one drop into the affected eye(s). Close your eyes for at least 2-3 minutes so that the medicine does not drain out of the eye(s).
• Q. Q. Can I use B-Floren Eye Drop with contact lenses??
  Ans: No, you should remove your contact lenses before instilling B-Floren Eye Drop. You can re-insert the lens 15 minutes after using B-Floren Eye Drop. Contact your doctor if there is any eye irritation that persists.
• Q. Q. Can I use any other eye drop along with B-Floren Eye Drop??
  Ans: Always consult your doctor before using any other eye drops along with B-Floren Eye Drop. It is advisable to give a gap of atleast 10-15 minutes between the two medications.

  Ans: You should contact your doctor immediately if you develop eye pain, severe eye irritation, and redness. Also, you should inform the doctor if you have an eye injury or eye surgery. Discuss with your doctor if you have to continue using B-Floren Eye Drop.

  Ans: Yes, when you instill the eye drops for the first time, it can make your eyes watery and may cause a slight burning sensation. If this happens, it will subside quickly. Inform your doctor if discomfort continues for a longer period of time.
