B A L Injection is a medication used in the treatment of toxic exposure to arsenic, mercury, gold, and lead. It is injected into the bloodstream by a doctor or nurse to remove heavy metals and/or minerals from the body. B A L Injection relieves the symptoms of heavy metal toxicity by flushing out the toxic metals from your body as a waste.

B A L Injection is a chelating agent. It is helpful in removing the heavy metal toxicity (e.g., arsenic, gold or mercury) from the body. It is also used in combination with other drug (sodium calcium edetate) to treat lead poisoning. B A L Injection is given as an injection by your doctor or healthcare professional. It is given into muscle for 3 consecutive days. The dose will be given according to body weight and severity of the symptoms. Nausea, vomiting and headache are some common side effects of this medicine. This is temporary and usually resolves on its own in some time. Please consult your doctor if it does not resolve or persists for a longer duration. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or if you suffer from blood pressure. If you are taking any iron medicine let your doctor know before the treatment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask advice from your doctor.

B A L Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding : UNSAFE

B A L Injection is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.

Driving : SAFE

B A L Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney : CAUTION

B A L Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of B A L Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver : UNSAFE

B A L Injection is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
