In Prevention of Angina (heart-related chest pain) Aspidot 75mg Tablet works as a blood thinner and is used in small doses to reduce the risk of blood clots forming. It prevents platelets from sticking together thereby preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. This means you are less likely to suffer from angina, a heart attack, a stroke, or other blockages of blood vessels. It is likely to be prescribed if you have a high risk of cardiovascular disease and should be taken regularly (usually for the rest of your life) to have a preventive effect. In Treatment and prevention of Heart attack Aspidot 75mg Tablet prevents the formation of blood clots in blood vessels thereby reducing the risk of future heart attacks or strokes. In larger doses, Aspidot 75mg Tablet may be used in the treatment of a heart attack or a stroke that has been caused by a blood clot. It stops the blood clot that is blocking the supply of blood to the heart from growing any bigger.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aspidot 75mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Aspidot 75mg Tablet is an antiplatelet medicine used to treat and prevent heart attacks, strokes, and heart-related chest pain (angina). It helps to prevent the formation of blood clots in your blood vessels. It is a very widely used medicine for heart protection. Aspidot 75mg Tablet is usually best taken with food otherwise it may upset your stomach. The dose that is right for you depends on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as recommended by your doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine are heartburn or upset stomach, nausea, and vomiting. These are not usually serious but if you are worried, ask your doctor about ways of reducing or preventing them. This medicine may sometimes cause you to bleed more easily (for example you may get nosebleeds or bruises). Aspidot 75mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aspidot 75mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Aspidot 75mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver : CAUTION

Aspidot 75mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Aspidot 75mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Aspidot 75mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Aspidot 75mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
