In Nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy Apritech 125/80 Capsule blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused due to some medicines or cancer treatment. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from cancer treatments such as radiation therapy or chemotherapy. It is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). Take it as prescribed by the doctor to get maximum benefit.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Apritech 125/80 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Apritech 125/80 Capsule is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of nausea or vomiting experienced as a side effect of chemotherapy or anti-cancer treatment. It inhibits the signal to reach the brain that causes the feeling of nausea or vomiting. Apritech 125/80 Capsule is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are constipation, indigestion, headache, tiredness, loss of appetite, and hiccups. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Apritech 125/80 Capsule is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Apritech 125/80 Capsule is recommended.

Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Apritech 125/80 Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Apritech 125/80 Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Apritech 125/80 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
