It stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria, thereby clearing the infection. It is advisable to continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and difficult to treat.
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Ampilong DS 500 mg/500 mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Ampilong DS 500 mg/500 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
