Amnurite Beta 5/20 ER Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of migraine. It works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in relieving pain sensation. It also helps in elevating your mood and relaxes the nerves in the brain. Amnurite Beta 5/20 ER Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach. However, it is advised to take it at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. In case you have missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. Never skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms. Some common side effects of this medicine include sedation, fatigue, slow heart rate, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), tiredness, blurred vision, dryness in mouth, difficulty in urination, constipation, nightmares, and cold extremities. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you. You should avoid alcohol while taking Amnurite Beta 5/20 ER Tablet, as it may worsen certain side effects. This medicine can also lead to weight gain, eat a healthy balanced diet, avoid snacking with high-calorie food, and exercise regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
