Xytol nasal drops may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. WEIGH RISKS VS. BENEFITS
? Avoid contact with eyes, mouth or nose and rinse immediately with plenty of cool tap water in case of accidental contact. ? Never use benzalkonium chloride solution on blistered/ cut skin. ? Consult your doctor before using benzalkonium chloride solution in children younger than 2 yea? Inform your doctor if symptoms do not disappear after 7 days of use. ? Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. ? Should not be given to patients who are allergic to benzalkonium chloride or any of its ingredients. ? Should not be given to patients who have a deep puncture wound, animal bite or serious burns.
