Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol if you have a history of severe allergic reactions of skin (Stevens-Johnson syndrome or Lyell syndrome). Do not continue taking ambroxol and contact your doctor immediately, if you notice any damage to skin or mucosa (moist tissue that lines the inner side of nose, mouth, lungs, and the urinary and digestive tracts). Avoid taking drugs that suppress cough (antitussives) if you are taking ambroxol. Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol, if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
