It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Dif 25mg suspension at a fixed time.
Dif 25mg suspension may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Dif 25mg suspension is probably safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor. PROBABLY SAFE
Do not drive or operate machinery after taking diphenhydramine as it may cause dizziness or drowziness. Avoid alcohol intake. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. It is best to take this drug at bedtime as it makes you sleepy or drowsy. Do not start or continue the diphenhydramine tablets: If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to diphenhydramine or any of the other ingredients of diphenhydramine tablet. If you have asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) or other breathing disorder, narrow angle glaucoma, stomach ulcer or obstruction of the gut or bladder, porphyria, thyroid disorder, heart disease, prostrate problem. If you have an intolerance to some sugars like lactose. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have prostate problems. Doctor?s advice should be considered before taking diphenhydramine tablets in case of any following disease conditions such as: Liver problems Long-term lung problems or difficulty breathing due to bronchitis. Glaucoma Difficulty passing urine Fits Myasthenia gravis Tinnitus Rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lap lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
