Alcohol Interaction

Cefbactum e.s 1.5gm injection may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Tell your doctor if you are taking cefoperazone and undergoing any blood or urine test, as it may affect the result. Do not start or continue the cefoperazone and consult your doctor: If you have history of allergy due to cefoperazone or any other cephalosporin or penicillin antibiotics. If you experience severe and persistent diarrhea after taking antibiotics. If you are already taking any other antibiotic like aminoglycosides or other cephalosporins as it may cause kidney toxicity.
